The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports more than 1,400 college students each year, with annual scholarships of $3.4 million through two nationally recognized programs on behalf of the Coca-Cola System.

High school seniors throughout the United States who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for one of our four-year, achievement-based scholarships. The application deadline is October 31.

THE COCA-COLA SCHOLARS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 26th class in 2014, the Foundation has provided over 5,400 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $54 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

Applicants must be:

✓ Current high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States (or select DoD schools);
✓ U.S. Citizens; U.S. Nationals; U.S. Permanent Residents; Refugees; Asylees; Cuban-Haitian Entrants; or Humanitarian Parolees;
✓ Anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of application;
✓ Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution;
✓ Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school.

How do I apply for the Coca-Cola Scholars Scholarship?

An initial application becomes available on our website in August each year. If you are at that time a high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA, you may apply by completing the online application by the October 31 deadline. The application requires you to list your grades, school and community activities, and employment, but no essays or additional materials are required.

How can the scholarship be used?

This scholarship is unique in that recipients have between 4-10 years to use their full award and may opt to defer all or part of the award within that 10 year timeframe.

In addition to using funds for tuition at an accredited college or university, Scholars may also use their funds for other educational expenses, such as on-campus housing, a computer, and textbooks.

The selection process we have developed ensures that each year we award scholarships to those who are most committed to positive leadership in serving others and to academic excellence.

2. Submit Application
Do not forget to click submit once you are done! A submission confirmation will appear after you click submit.

3. Semifinalist Selection
We review all online submissions and applicants learn by mid-November whether they will become one of the roughly 2000 semifinalists.

4. Submit Additional Material
The semifinalists submit additional materials by late December. Materials include a biographical questionnaire, official transcript, essays and recommendations.

5. Program Review Committee
The Program Review Committee, which includes former Scholars, reviews semifinalist applications in early January.

6. Finalist Selection
Semifinalists learn by late January if they will be one of 250 regional finalists.

7. Regional Interviews
Regional finalists schedule regional interviews either in person or via video conference to take place in early February.

8. Coca-Cola Scholar Selection
After regional interviews, 150 regional finalists will be named Coca-Cola Scholars. The remaining 100 regional finalists will be awarded educational stipends of $1,000.

9. Scholars Weekend in Atlanta
The 150 Coca-Cola Scholars attend Scholars Weekend in April, where they meet their peers for a time of inspiration, fun, and camaraderie. Coca-Cola Scholars will all be awarded $20,000 in scholarship funds.

10. The Alumni Family
The Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend marks the beginning of a lifelong connection among new scholarship recipients and the extended family of thousands of Coca-Cola Scholars.
